A little out of central London this classic restaurant is worth the tube ride and short walk. Great produce from the kitchen garden, attentive service and seasonal fish and meats are all sublime. I visited in a group and whilst everyone loved their selection, everyone also had food envy!

Recommended by my london friend for this restaurant. Nice ambience and great services. The big red grilling oven and the projection clock caught my attention. Indeed a very popular restaurant for business lunch. To get a good deal suggest to select the daily lunch set, which must be pre booked online range from £28-42 depends on how many courses you... Since the death of Rosie Grey, I have not seen Ruth Rogers at the helm in my last few visits. I started coming here in the mid eighties and the place has changed very little - still the big open plan etc. This place is not cheap but the pricing is not silly. Starters and Primi are around £20 whilst... More

We celebrated my 50th Birthday here(visiting from Australia) and it really was a 'foodie' experience. It truly was delicious, fresh and incredibly presented. Great experience and thoroughly enjoyed this Restaurant, beverage and the service was superb Enjoyed our evening immensely and it did live up to it's excellent reputation. R & R. Thank you.

A colleague a I decided to take a customer here for a business Lunch, primarily because it was fairly local to the customer's place of work. On arrival, I was a little surprised by the decor, but this was only down to my mistake of picturing something a little more formal. That being said, the food i ate was excellent.... More

We visited here last Saturday to celebrate a family birthday and had a night to remember. The food was excellent especially the Dover Sole, Scallops and the Sirloin Steak, all cooked to perfection and served with pride and efficiency. highly recommended. Not a cheap night out but we will be back.

Visited here on a Saturday evening with 2 friends for the first sitting for dinner. My first impression was that the tables were too close together and we were put on a table at the edge of the room. As it was January, we had no views outside and our backs were to the rest of the room. To be... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. I am Italian and usually don't go to ITALIAN restaurants abroad, but I am glad I did this time. The food is spectacular, simple and yet so well prepared and presented. I enjoyed every bite of it! The place is very busy and crowded but that s what expect from a very successful... More

We had bèen looking forwards to going here for lunch. Having been an avid user of the cookery books over many years, and loved the food, the meal at the restaurant can only be described as appalling. My wife had a 'starter' comprising a lonely looking squid with tasteless red stuff (chilli?) spread along its small four inch body sharing... More

I found the place is very nice but too pricey for the normal food. I booked the restaurant in advance for my birthday and very looking forward to visit but disappointed.
