Authentic Japanese food, helpful service. Would recommend. Also offer free Japanese tea and snacks whilst waiting for your order to arrive. Sometimes have queues outside so get there early.

Went there for lunch on a Tuesday hoping to find some basic but good quality Japanese food. Tokyo Diner did not disappoint. The interior decor is similar to what you get in Japan at comparable places and the dish I ordered I could have had...More

Went there on a recommendation from a friend. Not disappointed at all even though we had a 20 minute wait to get in due to the popularity of the place. Great prices and food with really nice, humble staff. A real find in London as...More

We came across Tokyo Diner while meandering through China Town. It was a great choice, as the options are authentic and great tasting. My two kids, ages 11 and 14, appreciated free option of extra rice. The service was good and prices expected.

Granted , in a touristy area of covent garden - but really bad - teriyaki chicken is not what I tasted anywhere in the world , including Japan - just pieces of cooked then grilled chicken in quasi teriyaki sauce - tasteless. Miso soup ok.
