Great place to have a Guinness on a rainy London afternoon. We enjoyed a nice few hours in the basement of this pub, just drinking and enjoying. The atmosphere is cool and the pints are not very expensive.
I made an effort to visit the pub after deciding I'd like a Guinness. As many will know, it can taste so different from place to place, due to usage, how often the lines are cleaned etc. Thankfully a place that is known for selling...More
As a Londoner I've been to this pub many times throughout the years but only just thought of reviewing it. This really is a gem in central London. It has a great atmosphere, great bar staff and great Guinness. It can get busy and full...More
Many places in London serve you a pint of the black stuff but this one is my number 1! Don't expect a fancy place. You go here for a beer and a chat with mates.
Great pint of Guinness, well you would be disappointed if it wasn’t so here. A very small bar but it has a TV showing the sports and it is quick service. Would recommend dropping by for a pint
It's all about Guiness and they keep the stout quite well but the problem is with a he manager/staff and what seems to be a tight group of regulars most of whom behaved like they were still in the 1950s with behaviour comments and attitudes...More
The staff was quite racist (also a couple of regulars who were there); making jokes about our accent and another kind of mockeries about us. Such an uncomfortable situation which made me feel the necessity of leaving that place asap.
If you like Guinness... nah even then I wouldn't bother. Ladies loos were grim. What's wrong with a lick of paint and a clean? Mainly men in as there are few options other than Guinness or pints.
Cool old fashioned london pub with the best extra cold beer in town. Great to sit/stand outside to watch the busy world of soho go by
