The food and staff here are amazing, the restaurant is decorated very nice and it is a cosy comfortable atmosphere. The Meze and bread for started are wonderful and delicious definite must have well then followed this with Beef Tagine Georgian Chicken rice and vegetables. The desserts are out of this world. Highly Recommended 5/5

We happened to walk past this little place on our way to Cirque de Soliel at RAH. My dad probably would never chosen this type of food! But we were all very pleased especially the homemade hummus and bread and veggie quiche and the range of fresh salads were amazing. Welcoming staff too.

Before an evening at RAH for the Cirque du Soleil I checked Trip Advisor for some decent local place to eat. Jakobs sounded sooo good... And maybe if the food picked from a fridge, sort of reheated in a microwave is your kind of thing, then go for it. It tasted not too bad, but it was not hot, and... More

Given that my girlfriend is vegan, when we are eating together it is vital that the place we choose has a variety of options for her - else i feel incredibly guilty! Having been advertised as having plenty of options, it was wonderful to walk in and enquire as to whether many of the dishes in the counter were vegan.... More

My Wife and I popped in for some dinner before heading off to the RAH to watch the Children's Barnados Christmas Performance. I am not a Veggie however my wife is a Vegan so I thought I would go off piste and go full on Veggie to give it a go and BOY I was not disappointed. I choose the... More

I eat here every chance I can (I live locally) as it is fantastic value, healthy and delicious. There is a broad range of dishes, all of which are made with fresh tasty ingredients. They do probably the best wrap in town as well (you can choose what you want in it). The marinade for the chicken breast is second... More

The food is superb, so many options to choose from and the staff are so helpful. Loved the attention to decor in the dining room and the care taken by the staff of each diner.

A short walk from the RAH, Jakobs offers excellent food in take-away containers with free paper serviettes and wooden cutlery, ideal to eat while queueing for a prom concert. I particularly commend their vegetarian quiche.

We found Jakobs by accident when looking at another Trip advisor recommended place nearby, and we're glad we did! It's become our 'go to' for a pre-Albert Hall meal - in the daytime the ambience is 'healthy deli/cafe', in the evening the candles are lit and the mood changes to soft and romantic (hence the title...) The dishes on offer... More

Went here for my dads birthday dinner - he was so happy that we stopped by. We asked for the waiters recommendation and he took us to the front part of the restaurant where we could see all the dished (cold shelves). His recommondations helped us a lot. We then decided to go for some shared starters, some salad with... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
