I have been coming here for many years, and it has always been a great pleasure to return. It is unpretentious, but this conceals a changing, thoughtfully-assembled menu, including game, in season. Traditional dishes may be "tweaked" a little, sometimes, but I believe that to...More

Love this place. Probably hasn't change in the last twenty years. Good food, wine and service. In a world full of chain restaurants this is a one of a kind.

We went recently and had one of their "share platter", the "charcuterie" one. It was nice but for £18 pounds, it wasn't too much food ! Luckily we had bread, fries and a salad on the side ! We ordered some red wine from Chile...More

I have no ides what previews are on about. I have just had a fantastic dinner, excellent wine and wonderful service at this restaurant. What more can you want. Sussex feel in a London establishment. I can't wait to return.

It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated
