My first visit with family and friends on a Friday evening. This restaurant really is a hidden gem. The service could be improved as it was not too busy but the food was delicious. To be honest the portions were a little on the small side and in my opinion the plate just looked full as it was full of... More

This is a great-looking venue. I had mixed starters, chicken and lamb as mains, which were all reasonably good but nothing too special compared to many other Lebanese restaurants around London. Staff were polite and attentive, which contributed to my 4 star rating, despite having to pre-arrange the menu since we were 11 people

We are am English family, but spent many years living in Cyprus where we all (partner and both children) gained a love for Middle Eastern influenced cuisine and good home made halloumi and hummus. From our experience last week of best has just been bested! The place was great, obviously styled of a theme, but modern at the same time... More

I've been to this restaurant a few times, since being introduced by a friend a few years ago. The food is sooo good, especially the lamb. I do find the service can be a bit slow when the restaurant is busy, but I find this happens in most places. Overall I would recommend this place if you love Lebanese food,... More

It was my first ever visit there and the service was AWFUL. I've never been treated like that as a customer. They rushed us and the manager spoke to us in a rude manner. I will never be visiting or recommending it again.

As we walked down the stairs to the restaurant the music and interior made us feel that we were being transported to a real Lebanese restaurant. A truly authentic place full of ambience. We arrived early so sat in the bar area and treated ourselves to some delicious cocktails. When we sat for our meal the waiter was very knowledgeable... More

A great restaurant, nice ambience, good service and great Lebanese meal. We went for the mixed platter and it was a good size and very well cooked.

I tried this restaurant through deliveroo and I was happy with it. They are prepare for take away food, good packaging and all the food arrived hot. I was expecting a better tagine but surprisely the half baby chicken was very tasty and good. The mezze platter was very good.

Levant is one of my favourite places when it comes to going out for a nice dinner with a nice atmosphere especially on a special occasion, I have visited the restaurant many times including my boyfriends birthday, our anniversary however I book last Friday with a group of friends who have not been before and I persuaded them to give... Description
Levant restaurant in London's West End is so much more than a Middle Eastern eaterie. Nestled between bustling Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street, it transports you via a unique experience to more exotic lands. The interior of this ultra-atmospheric restaurant and Mezze Lounge are decked out in bold colours with sensuous fabrics and authentic details, softly lit and saturated with the aroma of gently-burning incense. The authentic Lebanese menus from mezze to grilled fish, meat and fresh salads offer a myriad of spices, textures and flavours. Belly dancers perform every evening to add to Levant's sensory treat, and at weekends a resident DJ samples cool beats until the early hours.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
