I came here with a group of friends. The decor is the first thing that hits you, and it is a little bit eccentric to say the least. I have to say I’m not sure fabric chairs are the best in a restaurant, and things...More

I came here with a well-traveled and adventurous friend to see what we could try. I won't give too much away regarding the restaurant itself but you should definitely visit this quirky establishment. We had the 3 courses for £25 deal through an online deal....More

This is a unique dining experience. The décor and furnishings makes you feel relaxed. You are greeted with a request for your password, given to you the day before. The service is warm and helpful. The only problem that we had was their card machine...More

The place was so cozy and friendly. The food was delicious. They will give you a password when you reserve. It looks you are going to a hidden place that only you can open the door. I would recommend it if you come to London.😊

This restaurant is really worth a visit. The food is great and the staff very friendly. We tried the crickets, crocodile and ostrich and all of the courses were really well made. The place is quite small so reservations are recommended.

Been to Archipelago twice now and on both occasions they have been sensational. On my first outing I had the zebra starter and alpaca main. The zebra is so good! Really didn't know what to expect but it has a unique flavour and texture. So...More

We went as a family and had the £15 lunch sharing deal. Overall it was great value for an unusual food experience. The food was tasty enough to stand on its own, ignoring the novelty value. The sharing platter contained crocodile fritters, pulled alpaca, Mexican...More

The food overpriced. The food quality disappointing. The portions truly pathetic. The experience left us feeling conned. Subsequently, the date ruined. The summary, avoid at all costs. There are so many better restaurants to eat at in London, this place ain’t one of them by...More

We visited on a Saturday night courtesy of a TimeOut voucher that, quite frankly, allowed us to enjoy a sublime meal for a fraction of the cost. Not only was the food extremely unique and far from anything I'd ever eaten in a restaurant, the...More

Visited on recommendation. Quiet Wednesday lunch time. Superb service and exotic and unusual tastes, beautifully presented. A real surprise and would definitely return.

This sophisticated and sociable slice of Central

conveniently located between the major retail
thoroughfares of Regent Street to the west and
Tottenham Court Road to the east, with a handful of

If Archipelago were a film it would definitely be one of the Indiana Jones series. First, the menu features all manner of exotic beasties - locusts, zebra, crocodile and second the decor is an exotic mix of golden buddhas, dwarf palms and giant peacock feathers. The staff will talk you through each dish, but there's also chicken, fish, lamb and extensive vegetarian options. It's a great night out for the more adventurous - or if you happen to be having Ray Mears to stay.
