Had lunch at The Providores a couple of weeks ago. We went with some friends who had eaten there a few times before - always a good sign. We went upstairs - so a little more expensive but it is a comfortable dining room and...More

It's a tale about of two small spaces a tapas bar on the ground floor and a more formal restaurant above. They were set up by a quartet of restauranteurs and chefs in 2001 although two partners have since fled the nest. Judging both what...More

Opting for a 'lighter ' choice I had providores half and half. I was greeted with a generous portion of creamy yoghurt, granola and freshly cut fruits from around the world. With great coffee and smoothies on offer too, what more could you ask for?

Whether you order off the downstairs (tapa room) or the upstairs (Providores) menu the food is excellent. They the all too elusive excellent coffee so often lacking in cafes all over Britain. Not too hot, not too cold, just the right size and the baristas...More

Buzzy little room with locals and tourists all enjoying cocktails, wine and tapas. We especially enjoyed the tuna and the squid dishes. Turned out more expensive than anticipated, however we did have a few cocktails!

Dined here with a close friend. Warm and efficient welcome upstairs into a somewhat functional dining room but it didn't matter because food is the star here! A delicious bottle of reisling and friendly professional service started us off. The dining room was wondrously quiet...More

Good place to go to for brunch, although it is a bit pricey. Can get quite busy so try book ahead or be prepared to possible wait. Food and service was good, however there could have been more options on the menu.

This is a very popular New Zealand tapas place, with food a fusion of European, Middle Eastern, Turkish and Asian dishes and flavours and ingredients. Does it work? Yes, very much so. And it's proved very popular. People were queueing for tables when we went...More

Excellent brunch, smoothies ,food and teas were lovely.Service most efficient.Great atmosphere.Rather overpriced and portions could be a little larger. Cover charge for the linen clothes and napkins upstairs...I can see that they are trying to differentiate from the more casual downstairs..but surprised ,have not seen a...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
