Cute friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy but good solid Italian food. I went with friends who visit often. The risotto was a little overlooked for me, but the swordfish carpaccio and breaded scallops we had to start were delicious. The staff were very friendly. If I lived close by this would probably be a regular visit. A very nice... More

During a recent walk around Regents Park, The Canal and Primrose Hill; we came upon La Collina for what turned out to be a wonderful lunch. Waitstaff are discreet and courteous; the price point is very reasonable and the food delicious . A lovely simple minestrone soup, was complimented by delicious pastas. Definitely would return, the next time I am... More

We were a family party of 19 for dinner at La Collina at the end of April. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food and wine were excellent. We had only very favourable comments from all those present and would warmly recommend this restaurant to others.

Booked on basis of reviews, photos and menu. I have travelled extensively in Italy and was blown away by the whole experience in La Collina. The pasta was outstanding and enhanced by the unobtrusive professionalism of the staff. My wife and I will definitely revisit and take advantage of Alfresco dining if the sun is out!

SIx of us went last week to this restaurant and it was a horrible experience. I ordered a pasta dish for the main. I like garlic but it was so overladen with garlic, I found it impossible to eat. When I called the waiter and explained it wasn't edible he said 'you should have told me you don't like garlic'.... More

We came with high expectations, given that the restaurant was highly recommended by neighbours who are generally spot-on about local restaurants, and that it wasn't that easy to book a table. Perhaps it's nicer in the summer when the terrace is open, but it's hard to believe that alone could elevate the food we ate last night to an acceptable... More

Description
Highly praised by Time Out, La Collina serves stunning modern and traditional Italian cuisine, from fresh fish dishes to homemade pastas. Enjoy a fine Italian wine in the minimalist dining room or dine in one of the two al fresco spaces; either the pavement spot or the pretty sheltered decking with greenery and flowers.
