Whilst staying in London we had a meal here, the meal was very nice expensive but none the less well worth it. Very quiet restaurant after a very busy day. No pressure to rush, soft music playing in the background, very relaxing.

Simpel, but truly nice and tasty. Everything that you want to have when you opt for a little french bistro.

This is a small restaurant which escapes the term "intimate" due to somewhat bright lighting and unduly loud muzak - an eclectic variety of 1980s rock anthems and classical lollipops. Starters were poor (asparagus straight from the fridge and accompanied by what seemed like a packet sauce). Main courses were good. Pricing is aggressive and both a cover charge and... More

Small French Arabic restaurant in a side street. General air of neglect. Food was okayish but not nicely presented or creative in any way. Waiter was unsmiling and the place lacked any feeling of originality or conviviality. charged 12.5% service charge and a standard cover fee on top of food and drink.

I deliberately describe this as " typically French"..the owner is often temperamental .. But the food is consistently above average. Yes the staff keep changing but it's like any normal French neighbourhood restaurant .. Good " no fuss food" well presented sometimes with attitude .. Tonight I had a good fillet and an excellent light Pinot Noir..a good night in... More

We ate here on a Saturday night. It is a small restaurant which emphasises its frenchness in its menu and presentation. The food was not particularly French but pleasing none the less. The Camembert and Goat's Cheeses starters were good but the mains of lamb and the fish of the day were better. The portion size of the fish was... More

We were very well welcomed and w quickly received an aperitifs and bites. We only ordered a main course but it was well served, well cooked and food was really good. A bit a pity that the restaurant was next to empty on a Saturday evening at 09:30 pm.

We ate here a few years ago (about 5) and thought it would be interesting to try again. We found Pere Michel continues to be a very good and consistent restaurant. It is not a very big dinning room. Kinda on the small side, but very comfortable. Our meal was perfectly prepared. There is only one girl waiting on tables.... More

My family have been going to this restaurant for years but unfortunately we recently have had the most disappointing and awkward meal ever! When we arrived our table was not ready, so even though the restaurant only had one table occupied in the entire place, we had to stand around until the waitress prepared the table. She was sweet enough,... More
