Had calamari as our starter. Really good, worth a try. As our main we ordered risotto. It had salmon . Lots of color and great looking dish. It was wonderful. Had orange juice. We ordered tiramisu as a desert.

This is a review for the old dairy branch only This is my favourite PE in central london. The service is great and they're not too busy late or early on the week evenings. Can't speak for lunchtimes as it's near the BM.

The pizza was nice, normal pizza express stuff, but most of the staff just couldn't care less. Ordered wine "would you like an ice bucket" "yes please" ... Never arrived! One pizza turned up half cooked and was sent back, kids pizza meal, the desert was forgotten, then we were charged full adult price for the pizza. Ok, it's a... More

Back in the late 70s while my husband was studying in London this was our go to "treat" every few weeks. We revisited recently and found that it is pretty much as we remember but in our early 60s our "treat" is a bit different. This is the original Pizza Exxpress and the building is stunning. Friendly service and ok... More

Had a good meal here between visiting the British Museum and going to a concert. Service was pretty good, and food was up to the usual standard of Pizza Express. It wasn't busy at 5.30pm on a Saturday, although we did have a reservation. It's not huge, and has quite a good atmosphere.

I came here for an early dinner with my boyfriend in between The Cursed Child parts 1&2. It's perfectly located right near Palace Theatre and is much quieter than the one just down the road near Leicester Square station. I had booked a table for 4.30pm but had no issues getting seated when we arrived 20 minutes early. Initially, we... More

We ate on their outdoor cafe and found not only the service to be quick, efficient and friendly, but more importantly, their pizza was actually quite good. This is a chain in England, but does indeed put our American chains (Pizza Hut, etc.) to shame in terms of the quality of the pizza.

Situated two minutes from the British Museum in Coptic Street the restaurant is a popular place for both families and tourists. Close to the heart of theatre land in the West End of Central London, the restaurant was established in 1967 and was the second PizzaExpress to open. The tiles on the walls are the original to the dairy and many of its features date back to 1967, which gives this restaurant a unique identity.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
