I went there because I was desperate for a coffee like we get in Australia and it was certainly up to standard in that department. It was £3.40 so it cost a lot more than in Australia. I was a bit hungry so I ordered a bagel which is not an Australian thing but whatever. It arrived burnt and the... More

Frequently visit Flat White in Berwick Street when in the West End. The welcome is always sincere, and there's often a bowl of water on offer for my dog. Lovely selection of delicious cakes. This is a small and perfectly relaxed cafe that allows you to escape from the turmoil on the other side of the door.

The coffee is top notch Australian quality specialty coffee at its best. Food option limited, however it is predominantly a coffee shop with its emphasis on coffee. I did have a ham and cheese croissant that was very good!

Great smashed avo and halloumi. Can have it in a mix of varieties. They even have a vegemite and cheese toastie for the Australians missing home. Great coffee.

Different from most Coffee shops. This serves Artisan type Coffee and comes originally from Down Under. Normally drink Lattes and the like. Had to try an Flat white as it was in the name. Normally find them boring, but this was lovely and well presented. Seems popular with locals and tourists alike. I found it a nice change and was... More

It was this place that converted me from Latte to Flat white and i've not looked back since. Absolutely the best flat white i've had, and i've tried a hell of a lot since. It would be annoying if I wanted a sit down as it's always rammed, but mostly I take away. Coffee served at optimum drinking temperature so... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
