The goal was to find a place for lunch in Mayfair that ... lunch with friends who were all foodies, wanted to be able to enjoy each other in a relaxing environment where we didn't feel the tables were too close together and wasn't a 'scene'.... Wild Honey ticked ALL the boxes and surpassed all our expectations. The Prix Fix... More

We visited the restaurant for lunch and had a lovely time. The lunchtime menu offered a comprehensive selection which should cater to all tastes. The food was excellently cooked, well presented and served by helpful and knowledgeable staff. A thoroughly enjoyable time that ought to be a weekly event instead of an occasional treat!

We arrived earlier than expected (6 pm) but were still made very welcome. The waiter was very attentive and helpful with the selection of both the food and the wine. We enjoyed the stone bass. We would definitely plan to return here.

Great atmosphere in a beautiful wood-paneled former bank, very fine cooking, delicious and unusual wines on the list and possible the world's best raspberry soufflé.

An interesting restaurant with rather an old-fashioned atmosphere - wood panelling and the quality of service to match. We booked at 9.30 (the "Late Supper" menu at £35 each) because the prices drop significantly outside of peak times. The food was excellent. For me, what let them down was the very high wine prices: the cheapest red on the list... More

Had a great dinner here before Christmas with two friends. It was perfect for a relaxing, special meal and our waiter Ian was excellent and very helpful. It was great that they had a vegetarian option but unfortunately this was very small and not that special (especially for the price) - the meat option looked a lot better. If the... More

This discreet, restaurant has understated decor. The food is exquisite, with some of the best meat I've ever tasted in a restaurant. The service can be great, nut not over assiduous. It is quiet, but really wonderful for a special meal. My family visit especially on birthdays. Going there feels like you are in on a wonderful secret.

Came here for the Weekend lunch consisting of 3 courses for £35. Service was good and the food very tasty. Some reasonable wines available by the glass. Good selection available for each course.

A gastro weekend in London and this was my blind date! Fantastic food, it was all great: the food, the wine , etc! The pig head starter lacked descriptive attraction but with the recommendation of Ian the waiter I had it. Possibly the best starter ever. The confit duck was superb as was the cheese and desert . Reasonably priced... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
