The restaurant itself is lovely, with good interior design and an amazing skylight. The food was excellent: fresh british ingredients with a no-fuss modern presentation. The portions were just about right and we enjoyed every dish from starter to desert (or should I say pudding). Truly recommended.

Turned up on spec and had an excellent meal. Very reasonably priced for this area of London and a great combination of ingredients and flavours in the very different menu. Highly recommended.

An eclectic menu with lots of traditional English dishes that revisits everything that is great about English food and English ingredients. Some of the combinations or types of ingredients you mayn't be familiar with but don't let that put you off it's a great culinary experience and in a cosy atmosphere. Staff are attentive but need more knowledge on wine... More

This is the first time I have been to Hereford Road and I'll definitely be going back. The atmosphere is good and more importantly the food was great. You might ask how hard is it to get a roast wrong, but you'd be surprised, Hereford Road however does not disappoint. My only complaint is that no veggies came with the... More

I had lunch here with my daughter. The decor is simple but pleasing, with nice tables for one or two in the front, opposite the little kitchen, or a choice of tables or comfortable 'banquettes' in the main room. We had a friendly welcome and very good service. The set lunch is very good value at £13.50 for two, or... More

i have been here 6 times or so for lunch but this is my first review . The set lunch is inventive and extremely good value at about 14 quid for 2 courses, and the wine list will work for most too. By my ratings, it is not quite 4 stars , more 3 and a half +. The food... More

Just dropped in without booking. Place was busy but in control. Very professional. Our food arrived quickly and excellently prepared. Wine was matched perfectly. Loved it.

Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last.
