We were waiting for food for a long time, when it came out it was quite poor. At the end was impossible to get service again, completely ignored. Not an enjoyable experience.

Group of 20 of us, been seated since 19:30, orders taken at 19:45. Its now 21:45, and we still have not been served. Everyone else on this upper floor, greater in numbers and arriving later have been served. Absolute joke. Certainly not worth waiting for. Staff could not care less.

It's a real shame that the staff were so inattentive and rude, because the food was really good. I felt that we were ignored as soon as we went in and left to find our own table, then it was ages before anyone came to take our order (even though we had made eye contact and waved at one of... More

Been going for 16 years and not much changes other than the clientele. Gentrification hit Tooting and now there are more white middle class people Eating here than ever before. But they seem To be coping. Still tasty spicy curry. Feels genuine.

Came here last week, via a recommendation from a friend. Disastrous. I don't know where to start here - such a poor establishment. Firstly the decor - the lighting is far too bright and the seating too close to each other. It all makes for rather poor atmosphere. The sealed off door next to our table had a gap in... More

Came to the Lahore Karahi on a Saturday evening while visiting family. After waiting no more than ten minutes we were seated. Had the onion bahji's for starters which did not last too long on the plate. Ordered the Korma as mains and can say it was easily the nicest I've ever eaten, it was fresh and ever so tasteful.... Simple location offering tasty grub. We ordered two curries, two sides of rice, two drinks, some poppadoms and naans. All for less than 25 quid. You can't go wrong. Staff aren't the friendliest but they are efficient and I came here for the food, not friendship.

It's brightly lit, and packed on a Friday night with a queue trailing out of the door, but boy, they make delicious curries. The atmosphere is not conducive to a romantic night out, but the food more than makes up for it. My vegan son had phoned ahead, spoken to the boss who then personally supervised the ordering. Vegan son... More
