My partner and I live in flats right near to La Nonna, so we can basically get great Italian food just by 'popping downstairs'! I love the way the staff welcome their guests, making it feel personal - they seem to remember everyone! The food is excellent, the service friendly, you're never rushed. It's the kind of place you feel... More

Booked in for lunch with our grandchildren before seeing "Babe the sheep pig" at the Polka theatre. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and the staff were particularly friendly with the children knowing just how to talk with them. The food was of excellent quality and it was all eaten by the children as... More

Not Italian, not warm and I add more fun at a bus stop . The food is dull, service is tired, extensive menu and not busy at all ... Sorry guys but you need to get some professionals as you are not that cheap, to serve almost poorly prepared food . Avoid if you can .

Food was great, sadly I can't say the same for the service. Not inclined to encourage anyone to eat here. <33

An authentic Italian restaurant always seems to involve an element of chaos, shouting and rushing around and La Nonna carries forth with this tradition. That's not a criticism, just highlighting it for anyone who thought they might get a quiet restaurant. If you a looking for romantic table for two I should pick one late into the evening when it... This is the typical cozy Italian restaurant with plenty of atmosphere. The welcome is great, the service friendly and efficient and the menu and wine well priced. It's always bustling with young people enjoying an affordable evening out and to service this market the food is prepared to a budget. Don't expect gourmet dining but you will certainly have an... We had our Christmas meal here. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service and staff very good. The food was very good and an excellent choice. One negative - as this was Christmas time, surprised there was no crackers on the table and a service charge was included in the bill, which I don't believe in. Definitely worth... More

The restaurant is generally well organized. The staff was friendly and everyone greeted and smiled. Very quick service which was great for me personally. The food was good but not special ( I had a pizza margarita, I guess it's quite hard to make that special. It also said on the menu that basil was on the pizza which wasn't... More
