Haven't visited The Eagle for a good few years and was pleasantly surprised when I visited last night! Obviously a very popular place by locals and people from afar, car park was full and a constant stream of people walking to visit for both drinks and food. Service was very friendly and fast, food was fantastic (chicken with garlic and... More

I had my birthday meal here, with 30+ people. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful - they really went the extra mile to ensure everything went as planned and were very approachable. There were a couple of last minute hitches with some people dropping out and others wanting to come, but this was handled with no problem... More

I had stuffed pork with veg and a very generous slice of crackling. The portions are sizeable and the food delicious. There is a climbing frame in the large, sunny garden... More

Came here with the family on a Saturday after a very long day...everyone starving and in need of a good drink. We ordered the smoked mackerel starter, rib eye steak, and lamb burger. I had a pint bitter, my wife the Eagle ale. All very nice and hit the spot. Even better, Andy was amazing. He fit us in on... More

The decor and ambience are nice. Lovely, helpful and welcoming staff make the place a pleasure to eat at. Great roast dinner, although would like to see slightly more interesting vegetables. The beer is a bit above your average but not quite a craft drinkers standard. Would definitely come again and recommend a well price and very easy meal. Oh... More

Whilst having had many very good meals in this Pub I noticed that they were doing a Brunch on Saturday mornings. served between 10.00 and 12.00 I have to say that this was one of the best breakfasts i had had anywhere. I would highly recommend you give it a try. Local tasty produce freshly cooked and presented well. They... More

We went to have a Sunday roast before going home after a weekend in Norfolk with the dog. As it was "dog friendly" we thought we would give it a try. The staff were welcoming finding us a table as we hadn't booked and they were really busy. Service was good and we ordered Roast beef which was served with... More
