This cafe is run to help students at Parkside school learn social and hygiene skills. Inspirational place. Good food well presented. A special thank you to our server Chris who was just great.

As mentioned before the cafe is run to help people form social skills so pleas be patient while your being served. Th young mand who served us was very polite and welcomed to the cafe and a table. The staff are all people who are not as "advantaged" as normal joe public and you have to take them as they are - they are just great and it is such a good feeling knowing in... More

Its amazing to think that this place was a somewhat dingy bookies about 10-15 years ago, I know because I was... More

For maybe a couple of years this cafe, previously a successful commercial cafe, has been run by the pupils and staff of Parkside School. This is a special needs school and the cafe provides an outlet for both vocational training and 'time out of the classroom' for its students. I come here every now and then and it is humbling... Lovely atmosphere, great food at affordable prices. It's also one of the few cafes that doesn't serve fizzy drinks, so whenever I have brought my children on a Saturday, no one nags me for coke, which is nice.
