There is no better place for fish and chips for sure. We always have a great lunch and you can even purchase some fish from their shop just down the road.

So impressed with this the food was incredible which I could of eaten more of, not cos there wasn’t enough but cos it was so good. The staff are friendly and happy to chat.

Just spent a couple of days in Whitby and simply had to have fish and chips. There were queues to get in earlier, but we then went later and queues had gone, but the place was still relatively full. I had regular haddock and chips...More

If you want good food in Whitby go to the Magpie , the fish and chips are amazing the pudding selection varied and good portion sizes. Be prepared to queue but other than that faultless.

We have been many times and it is good to see the service and quality of food is second to none. Well done to all of the staff.

Went to the Magpie Cafe for lunch the service was second to none and the standard of cleanliness was excellent. The food was delicious and fresh.

I last visited the Magpie Cafe 30 years ago and was pleased this time as last. Amazing food, wonderful service and beautiful location - couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you.
