Wet and horrible day but the staff in Pig and Pastry are still putting a smile on everyone's faces. Lovely atmosphere and amazing staff members, not to mention the fantastic choice of drinks and food.

We have breakfasted at Pig and Pastry on our last two trips to York. Both times we've been met with a warm friendly welcome and enjoyed great coffee and food. I would highly recommend the waffles with bacon and maple syrup - delicious..!

Visited after reading all the TA reviews, good quality breakfast, nice pleasant staff, we enjoyed looking out onto the bustling road.
A big ask, but if you like your breakfast to make you smile and feel all is well with the world this busy little hub is the place to visit. Superb quality ingredients cooked and served with care, integrity, warmth and humour, lovely. .

Took a wrong and discovered this wonderful place. Great food, great vibe. Scones to die for and fresh, delicious salads with loads of flavour.

Little gem of a place. Had breakfast, fantastic all home cooked to order. Perfect relaxing atmosphere but only small. Even bought some lovely quiche for later in the day.
