I had avocado toast for breakfast which completely changed the avocado game for me. It was mind blowing. The coffee was delicious and they played great music there.

Visited this little cafe for lunch & I'm so glad we found it! It's such an adorable little place and we all really enjoyed our lunch! Will definitely be back to sample some of their cakes!

Stumbled upon this place as we stumbled into York. Tried the Hipster sammy which was good and a Flatwhite which was great, a vast improvement on London coffee! Returned the next day for coffee and cake.

This place is in a lovely location right next to the river. They served excellent teas and coffees and the bacon sandwiches were amazing! The only thing that let it down was the service was a bit slow, and with us having a train to...More

This tiny little coffee shop near Lendall Bridge is easy to miss but worth a visit. The coffee is great and the selection of cakes are always worth trying too.

Everything here seems to be good from the coffee to the tea to the breakfast offerings. It was a short walk from our hotel, and it quickly became our regular spot while on vacation. They even made an iced tea for this American tourist!

Stopped here for a cup of tea, ended up getting a raisin and cinnamon bagel as well. Both excellent. Friendly staff, and while it's not cheap, I think it's good value in comparison to most places in the centre of York.

Hi Alice, We don't reserve seats, we just run on a first come, first serve basis. If you arrive before 10.30am, there is usually a free table for 2 free. In terms of price range, toast is the cheapest breakfast item... More
