I Love Cafe Concerto usually but this time was terrible. Truffle rigatoni fondue wasn’t tasting like truffle at all (I am a regular and I know their standards). Coffees came after long time of waiting and actually they were even wrong, we had to send...them back 2 times. Joel was the only good part of the service while the lady manager with a lot of piercings on Regent Street site was very rude both with us and with our waiter, raising the tone and pushed the guy while trying to fix the issues. Anyway I will be coming back but definitely not on this site. Unprofessional management!More

Friendly staffs and excellent food. Taken good precautions for covid and the food had authentic Italian and Eastern European flavour. The outdoor seating offered us a spectacular view of the lake and the food added to the ambience. Definitely give this a go when you...are there.More

Went in today with my husband and had tuna melt, tuna & cucumber baguette, latte and hot chocolate. All as you’d expect, good portion sizes, fresh salad and breads and hot drinks. Clean cafe and very accommodating and polite smiley staff, would highly recommend to...anyone wanting to have a coffee and cake or main meal away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of YorkMore

If you are looking for an amazing cafe then Cafe Concerto is the one! If you are a child I would recommend the bacon baguette (it is brilliant!) The staff are very warm welcoming and helpful, the service is great but the cafe can be...quite busy around lunch time. Finally, the cakes are delicious and I would advise you to try one! Amazing!More

A lovely friendly cafe. Surrounded by manuscript & musical instruments of all shapes & sizes. A musicians paradise. A lovely breakfast if a little pricey! Although I didn’t indulge, the cake looked amazing & my goodness you certainly get your money’s worth! A slice will...keep you going for the rest of the day!More

Lovely small cafe with homemade food. I had the tuna melt baguette, which was absolutely delicious, with home made potato wedges. The only downside to this charming cafe is that when it’s very busy it can feel quite claustrophobic as it’s a very small cafe....Definitely worth a visit but try and pick a time when it’s less busy.More

Had the delicious courgette pea and mint soup followed by a chocolate and vanilla bread and butter pudding in this cosy cafe just inside the walls. Very friendly waitress too (who looks like Jen from the IT crowd!)

We stopped off here before visiting York Minster (which is literally just outside!) My partner and I enjoyed a leek and potato soup, and a mozzarella hot baguette with roasted veggies. Both dishes were delicious and flavourful. They sold a few different Yorkshire Ales, which...we really enjoyed. Staff were friendly and attentive. Seating was cosy but could have been more comfortable. Prices seemed slightly more premium, perhaps due to its proximity to the Minster. A nice spot to grab a quick tasty bite!More

I had a good lunch here last Summer on a very hot day. The servers were attentive and kind despite the oppressive weather. I enjoyed my baguette with salad very much. I'd tried to arrange a group meal here for my group, but never got...an answer from the owners in a couple of messages. That was a bit annoying. Otherwise, very good.More

Like the previous respondent no dogs appeared to be present but I cannot recall seeing any notice saying that dogs were not allowed.
