7 of us in total, we were in the restaurant just away from the bar, service was excellent and the food was amazing. Not just pub grub, it was seriously good. Compliments to the chef. The Pork, scallop and gnocchi dish was presented perfectly and...More

Really lovely pub in a beautiful village offering great food and a good beer. Not many covers here, so it is best to book - but worth the effort!

I came for dinner with a friend and we both gushed about the food and service. We had gin and tonics beforehand (they have a nice selection, I recommend the pink gin) and were then shown to our table. We tried the crab starter, duck...More

For a country pub it was soulless, quiet and cold. The food was good, but a bit overly fancy and not normal country pub fare really. I would return but hope that there are more other pub goers and diners to create a bit more...More

I last ate here a few years ago and remember good food. However, when we went for lunch yesterday the food was dry and obviously re-heated and overpriced for what it was. The pudding was better but nothing special. Service was fine but overall we...More

We were visiting the area and although we had been given several recommendations for dining we went with our own choice of The Saracens Head. This was based on the location and good reviews. On the whole it was a good experience. We received a...More

I connected to their WiFi successfully when visiting, and it was sufficient for my needs, though these were personal not business. I would say this place is suitable for an informal business meeting.

Situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside 2 miles from Althorp House, the ancestral home of Diana, Princess of Wales. A traditional village inn with character and charm. We are a privately owned and run free house with a selection of well kept real ales and lagers plus an extensive wine list. Runners-up in the Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards 2009. A great place to spend a lunchtime or evening.
