Such a shame the standards are dropping at one of my favourite restaurants. Sunday lunch comprised of a huge dry yorkshire pudding, burnt wellington, shop bought mash & cheap veg. The music was blaring out so it was very difficult to speak to each other....More

Had a terrible meal recently when dining with friends. The fish and chip meal I ordered was inedible. Soggy batter and grey fish. Got the bill reduced eventually. Won’t be dining there again until they get a new chef.

When you’re looking for an upmarket chain gastro pub then this wholeheartedly delivers. Great food! Great service and a not too shabby wine list. I would fully recommend this to parents wanting to treat their university student offspring when visiting this wonderful city!

Stopped in for a spot of dinner and a drink, busy lively atmosphere. Menus out on the pavement and on display externally. Once the food was selected proceeded to the bar only to be told “sorry mate, you can only have food if you’ve booked...More

First visit here today, we both had the roast but I had the vegetarian option. It was great to still get roast potatoes and stuffing as a lot of places won’t go this effort for a veggie Sunday lunch! Would highly recommend.

Dogs are always welcome in the top bar area. Buscuits and water bowls await.
