Went to Buford recently and came across Huffkins on the High Street. Obviously a popular place. Chose a cream tea and not disappointed. Plenty of tea, quality scone and lots of cream. Prompt polite service and a pleasant ambience. Good value.

Despite living locally for a couple of years I only just recently visited Huffkins Cafe. Went there for breakfast with friends, it was honestly one of the most delicious breakfasts I had in a while - we all went for a traditional English. You can...More

Our tour group of 21 ate here during a trip to the Cotswolds. We had pre-ordered our meals which made things much easier for everyone. The restaurant gave us our own space which made for a lovely lunch. The staff had things very well-organized and...More

We were on a day tour of the Cotswolds and Oxford and our tour guide pointed this out as one of the best places to grab a quick lunch in Burford. We ate in the bakery below so never got up to the tearoom upstairs....More

There is street parking but you will have to be very lucky to find a space. We parked in a car park behind a church which was roughly a 3/5 minute walk away from the High Street.

Description
Huffkins is a bit unusual. We are an independent family business with our own craft bakery and a heritage that stretches back to 1890. Established in Burford, at the heart of the Cotswolds, by Mr Titcombe our breads and cakes were originally delivered by donkey and cart. Given the impracticalities of donkeys we have modernised some things over the years - but we still bake everything by hand. Our bakers work through the night to create everything from the bread for our sandwiches to the fresh cream cakes in our shops. We believe very firmly in sourcing ingredients locally wherever possible.
