Terrific, authentic market town pub, which also serves honest, unpretentious food. Most importantly the staff and, in particular, the landlord and landlady are fabulous. We visit regularly because we are made to feel welcome and a part of the establishment.

Great food that's reasonably priced. I had the chilli...best I've ever had! Staff were friendly. Recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Seem to specialise in traditional English fare, a bit on the expensive site for pub grub but well above that standard so well worth it!

Lunch was very nice but nothing exceptional.Staff were very friendly.Limited menu but ok for lunchtime, not sure it would be any good for an evening meal. You can park at the free car park at the back of the Church and just walk through to the pub.
