Located in the shadow of Windsor Castle, The Three Tuns meets all the expectations of an English Pub. As one enters, one is greeted by the barkeep, told to sit wherever one pleased and then place an order at the bar. My spouse had fish and chips, of course, and I selected a steak sandwich with caramelized onions. The fish... More

Sir It appears you have left your review for the wrong Three Tuns. We are located in Henley on Thames - not Windsor. And we don't sell steak sandwiches' please could you re post. Many thanks More

3 of us choose The Three Tuns for a business supper during the week. We hadn't booked but seeing how busy they were would advise booking in future. Main courses of the Pie plus Fish of the Day and the Pork in a Bun were all perfectly satisfactory as was a bottle of their Pinot Noir. Service was friendly and... More

Only one table left and that was at midday. Meant to be so grabbed the table, odered a g&t, then the toast......absolutely amazing. Chicken was succulent and tasty as was the roast beef. Delicious roasties and yorkshires. I thought my roast was good, so full marks to the chef

I stopped here one evening for a quick drink (which ended up being two) as we were in the town that evening. Lovely little pub (mind your head) that's been in the Michelin Guide a fair few times. Drinks were very reasonably priced too for what we had.

I arrived early in Henley today for a concert. So I thought that I would try this pub for a meal instead of The Catherine Wheel. It was 12.15 and I walked into the small dining room. One table was occupied and the other empty tables had a reserved sign on.I asked if a table was immediately available and was told that they... Quirky, narrow little pub with a small bar at the front, a dining area and an outside courtyard at the rear. Very friendly ladies served our drinks and meals. We shared a starter of Salt & Chilli Squid which was absolutely delicious and the largest pieces of squid I've ever been served. My partner plumped for Pie of the Day,... More

We went here as a family for Mothering Sunday lunch, and we all ate roasts. Those of us that chose beef were unlucky as it was very very tough. In fact I left all my meat but as we had no check backs til the plates were being cleared we could not mention. The chicken and Lamb was deemed very... More

I love The Three Tuns My first choice in Henley whether it's a quick bite before the cinema, dinner catching up with friends or a late family Sunday lunch, you can always guarantee a great meal with good service. If you're lucky there will be a live singer on Sunday evenings Very special place

We met here with a group of friends for a traditional Sunday lunch. We all enjoyed the food which was nicely cooked and well presented. The roast lion of pork was the best we have had for a long time, all meat being sourced from the very good butcher a couple of doors down the road. Others had beef or... More

Description
Opened by Mark and Sandra Duggan in May 2011 what once was a run down and unloved pub has now become a charming and popular drinking and dining spot for locals and visitors alike. The front bar is charming with wood panelled walls and old brewery photos of a bygone era and has a roaring open fire during the winter months. The intimate dining room is classic and cosy and the newly refurbished terrace offers the perfect spot for outdoor dining with rattan furniture and large parasols in a tranquil setting. There is also the Stable Bar at the rear of the property which offers a private dining space for up to 32 people. The food itself is all freshly prepared by chef Mark and his team and offers the best of pub classics along with more modern dishes using seasonal and where possible local produce. That teamed with friendly, informative and efficient service has got The Three Tuns recommended in the 2013 Michelin Guide. The Tuns certainly has something to offer everyone...
