Absolutely amazing service the food arrive within 10 minutes of ordering . The peppert steak and the curried chicken tastes Devine definitely worth coming back again and again . Just would like to ask to you do NHS Discount so we can have a delivery to my ward all our staff would appreciate it . .

Had a delivery tonight from Comie’s. Was able to pay over the phone and also requested for the driver to leave on the doorstep as im isolating.
Delivery driver was very polite and kindly called me to let me know that they was running a few minutes late.
Great portion sizes, which was more than enough, food was delicious, just like it would be when eating in. Definitely worth trying comies delivery! Well done.

I visit Comie's regularly as it is close to work for lunch. The food is impeccable and the staff is absolutely lovely, they always have a smile and a chat.
The place can get quite busy and hence, you might be waiting for your food a bit, but I consider this to be expected where you have such good quality in a small restaurant. Any other Caribbean restaurant becomes a disappointment in comparison.

My friends visited the restaurant before the lockdown and said it was great but...the takeaway was awful! Late, tiny and very expensive. £10 for a box meal which was the size of a normal takeaway box. We are still awaiting 2hours after we ordered or my son's meal! We thought we would support local business in this hard time but over £50 for five of us and we are still hungry is not good. Sorry but we will never order from here again. Hopefully you will see this and take onboard the constructive criticism.

We have visited this Caribbean restaurant several times for a reasonably priced meal.
Menu a bit limited, with several chicken versions , ox tail and goat curry.
With the chicken it can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes a lovely juicy piece of chicken, sometimes mostly bone, as was the case for my partner on this occasion.
I though chose Akhee and Saltfish as it is more reliable, which came with steamed vegetables, black rice, and mac n cheese.
I enjoyed my meal but it's a pity the chicken dished are not more predictable.

Came here last night and we’re sooooo glad we did!!
The vibe was very Caribbean with the music and decor - hard to believe that the place is just off a main roundabout on an industrial area. Parking was a bit of an issue but don’t let that put you off coming here.
There wasn’t a massive menu but it had the things we wanted.
We ordered dumplings, jerk chicken, lamb chops, and brown chicken stew. I can honestly say it was the nicest Caribbean food we’ve had.
If we come back to Oxford again we will definitely come back. Also if you’re staying at the Premier Inn nearby, it’s easy to get to so leave your car at the hotel and walk - it’ll take 5 minutes. Fabulous!!

Six of us ate here and the food was amazing. Tasty and fairly priced. The staff were friendly and attentive. Many of the group hadn’t eaten Caribbean food before and they were happy to explain what everything was.

We have paid many visits to this restaurant, as it is very reasonably priced.
We always opt for a meal which comes with rice, mac n cheese, and steamed vegetables.
My partner opted for one of the chicken options, Jerk, although it looked more like Barbecue chicken.
I was adventurous and chose Saltfish and Ackee which was very tasty, and will probably chose it again next time.
The chicken dishes can be a bit hot and miss, sometimes it is like a fillet, other times there is less chicken and you have to eat it off the bone.

We had an excellent meal here last night. The staff couldn't have been more lovely, the waitress even came to find us when we couldn't locate the restaurant which is difficult to find.
Food was really good and having been to the Caribbean a few times can say its very authentic.
I'd highly recommend.

I contacted Comies to see if they could provide food for a birthday party. It was quite short notice and I had a requirement for up to fifty covers.
You can imagine my pleasure when they said that they would be able to provide the food, deliver and set it up.
The staff were fantastic and helped me with my choices from the menu.
On the day of the party, the food arrived on time and was professionally set up on warming trays.
Well, it was a great success, jerk chicken, goat curry, vegetable curry and of course dumplings! All absolutely delicious. My guests loved it.
So a big thank you to Comies for their amazing service and food 😋

A lovely little restaurant tucked away in Garsington Road! I really enjoyed the atmosphere that the place gave and the food was generous and tasty.
I had the jerk chicken which came with steamed veg, rice & beans, and a slice of mac and cheese. I enjoyed it and I would love to go again.
I think a Caribbean style cocktail would have been a welcome addition!

Coming from the Netherlands and finding out on a misty evening that Comie is still going strong was a relief, the ultimate friendly welcome ,laid back reggae all over the place and the superb Jerk chicken were as great ( if not better) as we remembered.
If you're in for something off the beaten track ( quite literally) this is the place to go to.
Friendly priced,delicious and served with a big big smile.

Well not really first time but street food at carnival doesn't even come close, so we can ignore that.
Besides, Bob Marley is better on the digestion than steel bands competing against each other.
What a delight! The delicious food is also a work of art. Friendly service and all at a reasonable price. Thank you all.
PS loved the Guinness at 7.5%

We visited Comie’s whilst staying at the Premier Inn hotel which is a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. Great authentic restaurant with excellent food and beer. The staff are very pleasant! A very enjoyable evening. Thank you!!
