Popped in pre meal on Friday for a couple of beers, as usual had a betty stoggs, best place I've had that beer and main reason I find any excuse to pop in when in the city centre, followed this with a Pip Squeak and...More
Went to this cozy pub after a day of conferencing. I had 1 of THREE ciders on tap, and my husband had a lovely ale. This place is amazing. One of the ciders was a cask. And all so reasonably priced!

Still rather perplexed about our visit to the Lamb and Flag in Oxford yesterday evening. We took our 20 year old son to the pub for a pre-dinner drink on his birthday at a time when young people under 18 were not permitted in the...More
The pub is fine but the barman is obviously in the wrong job, his bad manners and rudeness even seemed to shock the rest of the staff. Not the attitude required in a service role. A good selection of beers and a good place to...More
