Welcomer Claudio & Server Aneline were awesome, made us feel very welcome. Food & drink was good too.

Service was a real let down, on a less than busy evening. Average food (pork belly & scallops) which was overpriced.

Six of us eat at Browns on March 1 st for a family celebration. Service was over the top helpful, far too many comments and jokes for comfort. Food was very underwhelming and uninspiring. I had the Browns fish pie, which had a large amount of processed peas. The menu was rather unimbitious and sadly would not eat here again.

We once again visited Brown's on riverside the Oracle Reading, and once again it was very good food with service to match. We will be visiting again sometime soon for sure.

Lovely atmosphere in this brasserie. The staff were very efficient and always had a smile for the customers which makes you feel welcome. The food was fantastic and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Well done the Brown's team.

Visited with friends for a nice farewell brunch. The food was great - had the lobster benedict - and the service was lovely!

Totally overpriced, service lacking -won't ever go back Waiters should never try to top up my wine, after having been asked not to!!! Only ask once if everything is OK, NOT 6 TIMES My starter did not come with the rest of the party as they have hot and cold kitchens, tht do not work in sync, do I care,... More

Hello bl_b_10 Thank you for your feedback, now if I may, have my say on your comments..... 1) We are in the same price bracket of a number of restaurants in The Oracle who have a similar offer so I'm not sure where you usually dine to class us as overpriced. 2) Surely asking if everything is ok should be... Loud, lively and low lit. A great place for drinks. We were in on Saturday evening and got great service. Short queues at the bar and the music the have on is pretty good too. Bit pricey - £5 and up for a pint of beer or a glass of wine.

We had a family gathering and decided to go to browns for our lunch. Champagne and snack in the bar then moving to the restaurant for lunch afterwards. Lovely food with a fantastic service, nothing was to much trouble even with the demanding family. We'll be back
