Visited for my brothers birthday, a group of 8 and all of us left happy and full! Delicious food, enjoyed by all! Puddings were the highlight! Faultless!

The restaurant is absolutely lovely, we sat upstairs with the view of the river just two nights ago. We were a party of 16 and everyone really enjoyed it all. Not one complaint from anyone. I only heard great things regards the food from them...More

Came here as guests of an international bank, who have just moved into central Reading. The meal started well, with the starters coming out in reasonably timely fashion. I had the duck egg with brioche toast, mushrooms and bacon. It would have made an ideal...More

The food and service is good anytime. But, if you've finished your shopping early, mid afternoon and want to have an enjoyable, affordable meal, you can't beat their set price two course meal. Whatever you chose, you will enjoy and the house wine has good...More

The food was delicious and I am not easy to satisfy. The prices are fair for the quality. The staff very friendly and take a personal interest in your well being. We had a young child with us who was welcomed and who made friends...More

Reading used to be a gastronomic wasteland, and the multiple 'eateries' now lining the river Kennet might be welcome but they don't really raise the bar that much. Unlike the London Street Brasserie, which has been excellent on every visit. I can now look forward...More

Between slow service (we had to get up for the bill & more drinks) and 2 very salty mains our last visit wasn't their finest hour. Wine list could really do with an update too.

My husband and I were visiting relatives in Reading. We figured this place was full so we only popped in for dessert. The hosts were extremely engaging. Since we're from the US, we wanted to try 'sticky pudding.' London Brasserie's desserts were top notch.

Description
The London Street Brasserie is the second award winning restaurant by owner & proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000, next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim & Michelin recognition & has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars & locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area & a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
