I have to admit I was standing outside in the rain waiting fir them to open. Food as ever FANTASTIC and they are constantly changing things. The staff are friendly, welcoming and polite and will explain anything on the Menu if required. Will I go again? That's not even in question one of my restaurants irrespective of cuisine. Thanks everyone.

As a sushi lover and Sheffield local I come here on average once a month! Fresh sushi & meals- never disappoints! The sakushi roll is my favourite, the menu offers a variety of options. The best thing about sakushi is the deals they put on for lunch and for loyal customers- if you have a card you get 10% off... More

Thanks for your kind words, we work very hard to make sure the quality of our sushi is top notch. Keep your eyes peeled for our up coming summer dishes and our new menu to be launched in next few months. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Richard - General Manager More

For four years Sakushi has been our sushi stomping ground and this evening we were reminded why. The sashimi melted like butter in the mouth as the quality of it was clearly very high and as always the spicy tuna rolls were heavenly. However tonight it was the service that has prompted me to leave a review. The manager was... More

This was very good quality sushi, but a little pricey for eating in - especially on weekends. Take out has options such as 14 pieces of salmon for £7.20; Mon-Fri lunch is £9.95 for 3 sushi plates and a side dish. We wound up paying over £35 for what felt like just a few relatively simple conveyor belt dishes. What... More

A disclaimer before I launch into the review: unlike previous reviewers I have never been to a branch of YO!Sushi, and I never intend to. I have, on the other hand, visited Japan and eaten a lot of sushi and sashimi whilst there; I'm sure I know by now what sushi is supposed to be like. The restaurant was completely... More

Hello, thanks for the review. We always appreciate people taking the time to get back to us. As you identified we take a lot of time selecting our suppliers to get the best possible quality fish we can and are very proud of the quality and freshness of our fish. I appreciate the service may seem strange when they keep... More

I'm not knowledgeable about Japanese food and my only previous experience was at a branch of Yo sushi ; this place was a lot more personal and friendly although I think the food choices were broadly similar. We chose a selection of cold sushi plates from the carousel which runs the length of the restaurant. The plates are coloured according... More

Hello and thank you for your review we always like to hear from our guests regarding where we do things well and where we can brush up. To answer your curiosity of how we control the duration of display it is relatively simple. Different dishes have different times we keep them on the belt for. UK law says the maximum... More

Been to Sakushi today around dinner time and the place was nearly empty! Really surprising because the food was amazing and really good quality, we normally visit yo sushi and sakushi seemed way better value for money, bigger portion sizes for less money. We will definitely be coming back :) Thankyou!

I've eaten Japanese food before but I've been vegan for 10 month now and it's proven difficult to find a place that caters for my diet choice. There are quite a few items that vegans can have and I chose vegetable rice noodles (noodles, bean sprouts, crispy tofu and what I perceive to be a sweet soy marinade), asparagus maki,... More

The takeaway we had was good because we could control what we spent. Went to dine in and it was a different story. Used to Yo Sushi, we nabbed seaweed salad and it turned out to be twice as expensive. Pumpkin katsu curry is £10 - huge portion so you could share and cut the cost.

Hi Abby, I feel you may have hit the nail on the head, we are not YO!Sushi. I am sure like many the first time you went to YO you probably spent more than you expected because you were not used to the menu (I know i did all those years ago). As you stated, our portions on our hot... More
