Called in last week. This place is situated centrally a short walk from railway station. There was a post Xmas party going on so it soon became rather crowded. We each ordered a hot meal with side salad. The venue is spartan but comfortable with college clientele,The ladies who served us were not English and misunderstood our orders. Thus one did not... Went there today for a work meeting. My colleague had a curry that he said was one of the best he'd ever had. Not busy, no queues and food came reasonably quickly and was delicious

I visit every day I am in the office and there is always something new to try. All organic ingredients sourced locally, mostly from their associated farm. Fusion works with the Freeman Collage nearby and sells their bread and trains students for catering professions. Very convenient it is always very lively with very friendly staff.

I have been once before and it was bad then but decided to give it another go. Long queues, inefficient staff, wouldn't give us a table number and we didn't get a receipt. We waited nearly an hour and we had only ordered quiche and the curry. Everyone round us getting served before us, but we also noticed they were... More

Return visit to Fusion and the same amazing food. Had lamb tagine with melt in the mouth lamb, harissa couscous with pomegranate and spiced almonds and all for £6.50. Such good value and the food is so inventive, I'm always stuck for choice. Wherever you go these days it is always the same boring choices but I love it here,... More

The food is excellent, the prices are good and the staff are friendly. However, it's not the best organised place and food (and even coffees) are slow to arrive. If you have time, this place is brilliant. Even better that it's a social enterprise. But if you are in a rush - go somewhere else. Otherwise you will get very... More

Sweet potato, chilli & coconut soup, absolutely divine......and the bread is just out of this world, I didn't get that bloated feeling after eating it, maybe because it is freshly baked? Such a lovely place to eat, staff are friendly and I particularly like what good value it is. It does get busy though so my tip would be to... More

Relied upon Tripadvisor and headed here between swimming sessions at Ponds Forge. Slightly over ordered as we didn't appreciate that portion sizes were so generous. French soup and croutons was delicious and my Mushroom and cheese strudel was fab especially with the courgette salad. Good atmosphere and service. Payment at the counter makes it less easy to tip. This would... More

Usually meet up with friends every couple of weeks. Fusion Cafe is brilliant value, really good food, staff are friendly and helpful. Close to Hallam University so it's a busy area during term time, book a table if there are a few people.

I recommend the quiches - tasty and fresh. The polenta cake that followed was too sweet, but the carrot cake was very good. Nice coffee, friendly staff, clean and spacious. And a social enterprise to boot. What's not to like?
