We had dinner at this excellent restaurant last night, on the recommendation of my daughter who had taken advantage of their bargain, delicious, £10 lunch. The food was interesting and delicious-a very good selection in a short menu- and the service very good.
Visited Barretts on recommendation from friends and reviews on Trip Advisor. Fancied trying somewhere a little different that was small and friendly. E mailed via web site and had a reply confirming booking for the Saturday night. There are only 6 tables but don't let...More
Thank you so much for your review of your first experience of Barretts Bistro. It pleases us immensely when diners appreciate the effort we go to from within the confines of our tiny bistro. We hope to see you again soon. Thanks again James B

I’ve eaten several times at Barretts in the past but it’s always been the lunch menu. Last night we tried the evening spring menu. My initial thoughts are to stick to the lunch menu because for £10 for 3 courses you just can’t go wrong....More
A small place and is somewhere that has tried hard to create a cosy dining experience. We had the taster menu and unfortunately the food wasn't to our liking. The waitress was working hard on her own to serve all the customers but the seven...More
