This is one of those places where you instantly feel at home. It has a great atmosphere and is very popular. Recently ate here again and the food was excellent, as was the sloe gin.

Been here a few times now as it is close to work. I have had pies, sausages, fish and vegi and I have never been dissappointed. The food and service is always good. i would recomend here.

Joining a retiring work colleague for lunch, I joined my work colleagues at the table, many of whom had eaten/were eating due to staggered lunches. Having ordered a drink at the bar, I rejoined the table. There were no menus on the table, which made sense as the table had technically been served. So I approached a bespectacled chap stood... Hi Rory, Thank you for your feedback, we're sorry it wasn't a better experience for you. Just wanted to reassure you that we're looking into how this could have happened to you as it's certainly not the standard of service that we aim to provide. We hope this experience hasn't put you off eating here in the future. Regards, The... More

Although it's been nearly a year since our last visit the food, service and value for money are still outstanding. My only wish is that it was positioned in my home town so I might partake of the fantastic beer and gin selections. (Nominated driver!)

We went to The Broadfield for our anniversary meal as I've always wanted to try it out. It was busy but we were welcomed with smiles & shown to our table, always a good start. I reminded the waitress I needed Gluten Free food & she said that was absolutely fine. The food & service were brilliant from start to... More

Been a couple of times for to drinks but first visit for food. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food, thought it would be basic pub food but you see some talent and skill in the cooking. Had the lamb shoulder which was fab, my partner had the pie, he said he said the actual pie was a... More

We had a Family get together at The Broadfield. Nice Sunday lunch menu of roast beef or chicken and fresh local vegetables, huge Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. Other choices of various pies, fish and sausage and mash, there is plenty to tempt you. Also a nice choice of starters and deserts so everyone was happy !! The staff were... More

Since moving to Sheffield this place has become a firm favourite of ours. Great for food or a drink with a cool little beer garden in the back. The pies are amazing and the menu changes regularly enough so you don't get bored eating there!

Three fiends and myself visited The Broadfield on a Sunday in March for lunch. The staff was very attentive to us and quickly offered a selection of nice ales to have while we decided our mains. The place is reasonably quiet, cosy and very tidy. I had a look at the beer garden and looked big, inviting and clean. We... More

We had a good meal here. However I feel the pie is massively overrated. Very dry and not much filling. That said the rest of the food was fantastic. The beer is good and the pub has a good atmosphere. Won't rush back for a pie but would defiantly go back to try something else if the menu.

At the Broadfield we are honest. We take pride in who we are, where we are, what we do, the food we make and the drinks we serve. There’s no fuss, no fancy, just a truly authentic Yorkshire pub.
