Visited for breakfast with friends, arrived just after 9am and the cafe was busy. I ordered the smoked haddock rarebit, which was delicious, a little wait for the coffee, but that was understandable for how busy it was, I also ordered a slice of blueberry crumble which was delightful.

Unable to seat our party of four due to how busy it was, but we did not leave empty handed! The huge sausage rolls and a slice of chocolate banana cake made lovely snacks as we walked around this impressive area. Will attempt lunch again very soon as the food on offer looked fresh and appetising.

There was a small but tasty selection of light lunches on offer served by friendly staff. All four of us managed to order something different... More

Tried to find a place to take my nan for lunch, this looked like a great place. It was really busy when we arrived, but that was a good sign. A very welcoming place, great food at a decent price. I think the menu was just a bit to edgy for my nan. Saying all that, I loved the baked... More

I work just down the road from The Grind and I treat myself to lunch here every few weeks or so. I’ve been coming for around 3 years now. I find the Grind a really interesting place to eat, the food is always different, there is no set menu whatever they have made on the day. It’s all made fresh... More

I visited twice in March, once with family and once with a friend. When I came with my family we had great service and the food was excellent. Fresh salad options were to die for. The other trip was completely different. We were sat for 10 minutes with not even been offered a menu, and when we finally went to... More

This is a popular cafe, which will no doubt become more popular as the amount of nearby accommodation increases. We had orange juice and croissants for breakfast here. Good choice.

After visiting the museum close by, l was lured to this very cool, modern but well styled cafe in Kelham Island in Sheffield which serves lovely coffee, has a great selection of clean and yummy food and is hospitable.
