Chose as good reviews and not disappointed. Went for the sum dumplings and the Szechuan chicken and pork belly. All very good and look forward to exploring the menu on my next visit to the city.

My family and I have been coming to Zing Vaa almost every year for the past 20+ years so it has always been our go to place for amazing food and quality service to celebrate family birthdays.....not this time. The service was terrible. Staff were...More

Seriously the dim sum here is the absolute best, I've been to dim sum establishments in London Chinatown and the quality is there is subpar in contrast to this place. Yes, the service is not top notch and the establishment itself is not 5* but...More

This restaurant is unprepossessing from the outside, but you go down stairs from the street and into a quaint slightly old fashioned place with a certain charm. The lunch menu is limited but they will provide anything from the main menu - in fact nothing...More

Food was really good but restaurant itself looks really tired and needs a good dust. Can't fault the food or the service very friendly staff. Will go again

Yet again after 50 years as a customer this is still very good value for money. We ate from the standard menu due to the Bank Holiday. Can recommend mixed meats with prawns. We had substantial meals & drinks for less than £20.

The decor is dated, but that's part of the charm. You don't have amazing chairs or tables, but do you really need them?! The food was absolutely sensational. Amazing starters, the duck pancakes were incredible and the main dishes were well cooked and there was...More

We went here for a family meal and we loved it. The food was so delicious, it's the best Chinese I've had in years. Yes the decor is a little tired but the food more than makes up for it. We will be back

The food is unbelievably delicious. I know people from London coming here and saying that China Town in London doesn't offer such good food! Well done to the Chef! Why not 5*? The service needs improvement... I am not one of those people that is...More

When did the Zing Vaa first open on The Moor? I remember first using it as a student in Sheffield in 1965. I believe at that time it was owned by Mr Hopkinson who also had a restaurant by the same name in Matlock Bath. Can anyone confirm my memory is still in good condition?
