We know the Marlborough Tavern and Hare & Hounds pretty well, but hadn't ventured to the other gastro-pub in the group - The Chequers - until last night. Excellent on all accounts within the control of management - decor, food, wine and beer, etc. The...More

Good food, particularly enjoyed the duck - very well cooked although the accompaniments not quite hot. Fantastic bottle of Zinfandel and great to see a Tokaji available by the glass. Lovely atmosphere and exceptional service.More

We travelled to Bath to meet with friends. The restaurant was a recommendation from our friends daughter as she knew they catered for vegetarians. Excellent service, amazing wine, and outstanding food. We will definitely be going back, even though we live in London.
