Excellent service and food. Staff dealt with my difficult diet with efficiency and without any fuss or problem. Waitresses very polite and eager to please. Would recommend the experience to any one.

We took our foreign visitors to experience Bath and the tea rooms. Tea and edibles were excellent, although the Earl Grey did not have a strong flavour. You must be fit to climb the stairs and the room is rather small with tables packed in. Great to have the staff dressed up.

Fabulous afternoon!!! We had the £11 pp "ladies afternoon tea" option and it was the perfect experience. Staff were lovely. Ambiance will not disappoint the Jane Austen fan. 10/10 day!!

The best cream tea I had on my entire vacation. So good! The Jane Austen blend tea was very good as well, served by young ladies in regency dress (underneath a portrait of Mr. Darcy). The tea room is small and seating is limited, so if you want to eat here, I recommend making a reservation.

At first I was a little reluctant to eat here, as the prices seemed a little steep, but I changed my mind immediately upon arrival. Unlike the Jane Austen Centre, which I found a little underwhelming, The Regency Tea Rooms exceeded my expectations. I ordered "Tea with Mr. Darcy" which included a selection of fresh finger sandwiches, a warm scone... More

Beautifully decorated tea rooms with lovely lady in period costume serving. Strongly recommend for those who love afternoon tea. Food was amazing, best afternoon tea I've had and I often have afternoon tea. Very reasonably priced and very friendly. Is pretty much all afternoon tea so not a wide menu but fine for its size. Children had hot chocolate with... More

This place serves the gloriously superb scones and homemade jam EVER! Highly recommend you go there as a group so that tea set can be shared as it is served in a big portion (for 2-3 persons for both savoury and sweets). The tearoom decoration is truly Regency so visiting the place with themed costume in Jane Austen style should... More

Located above the Jane Austen Center, this is a small tea room with a handful of tables, lovely decorated in the Regency style (I think). The menu actually has quite a selection of food other than afternoon tea. Tried crumpet for the first time (a thick, flavorless pancake) and "tasty toasties"---hot, pressed sandwiches that were quite the hit with both... More

Lovely tea cake with jam and cream and strawberries. Nice quite tea room in atmospheric place. Part of the Jane Austen centre which was a disappointment.

My first visit to the busy tea rooms at the Jane Austen centre! After a busy morning of dancing, I met up with authoress Jane Odiwe at the tea rooms, both to catch up but also to interview her for my Austen-inspired blog. The staff was quick on their feet, very kind and service minded. The Ladies afternoon tea plate... More
