The staff have to work the takeaway and eat-in orders from behind a counter that is right inside the door which means that people queuing for takeaway are in the same queue as those trying to get a seat. When it's cold people keep leaving the door open so those sitting in are blasted with cold air. The sandwiches and... More

The wife and I dropped in for coffee before visiting the Jane Austen centre around the corner. We are on holiday from Australia and touring around the south after spending some time in London. We both agree this is the best coffee experience on the trip so far! The pleasant guy who served us imports the beans himself from Columbia... More

The perfect stop for afternoon tea and cake on the long hill back to Charlotte street car park. Cold wines on tap. Great carrot cake and flapjack.

Really good little cafe. Nice selection of fresh food and good coffee. If you can get a window seat, it's nice just watching the world go by.

Stopped off for a coffee and a bite to eat. The cappuccino was nice and the chai latte lovely and hot. We also bought a samosa and flapjack to share. The coffees were reasonably priced, but we thought that the food was a tad overpriced. Two coffees, the samosa and the flapjack came to £12!! Would give 3.5 if that... More
