There are a few bars in Larkhall, but none are as good as this charming little gem. I believe that in the past the Rose and Crown had a bad reputation and until recently it was a tad run down. Now, this local bar has been tastefully redecorated, spruced up and is a delightful place to sit, talk with the... More

We stumbled on the Rose and Crown for a late Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. The welcome was excellent and the food was very good with a modern twist. we sat in the back room which could do with a little bit more atmosphere (there could have been some background music). But we would definitely go back again.

Empty on a Saturday night. No life , no sole no nothing . I remember this place of old. It used to be the heart of the community , sadly it seems the community has left and if the welcome was anything like mine they will not be returning .

Unlike some neighbourhood pubs which can be rather unfriendly to non-locals, the Rose and Crown is a warm and welcome place whether you're from home or away. Great food, drink, games, events, cat...

The ex Fishworks chef is creating the food here, and it's delicious. The bar snacks are amazing, huge chips, mussel popcorn and fried pickles! Tom and his staff are very welcoming, it's great to see this pub thriving again.

Beer was nice and the manager was really friendly....worth going in to have a pint or 3. Not to close but not to far from the town centre. What more could you ask for?

Have been here before but not since the new chef. Local pub with above average food. The Sunday roast was awesome, will be returning soon especially for the White chocolate profiteroles. If you come to Bath and don't mind going a short distance out of the centre and don't want a chain restaurant, this is for you. The landlord, Gary... More

Had a great evening at the Rose and Crown Gourmet dinning evening on Saturday.Superb food served by dishy waiter. Gary is a great host and made us all welcome. Looking forward to the Haloween event. We are so lucky to have such a great local pub, which serves such excellent food. Well done Gary.

With my partner being local to larkhall, he introduced me to this lovely, friendly pub. The landlord is absolutely wonderful, always happy to chat and makes you feel so at home and the rest of his staff are just as wonderful. The pub itself is wonderfully traditional without being outdated. There is always a new ale in the range whenever... More
