The coffee was excellent! We had poached eggs with dill creme fraiche and bubble & squeak. It was very tasty. The eggs were over cooked which was the only thing that let it down. Great location!

Located right across the street from the Roman Baths, it is a very nice sit down, quiet place for lunch. We had an RBK club sandwich, a small Caesar salad, cappuccino, and Bubble and Squeak. The latter is a mashed potato patty containing carrots, onions...More

Average service and not particularly attentive staff when we popped in for a coffee and pastries. I also had an orange juice - overpriced and straight out of a tetrapak carton. I’d have expected freshly squeezed juice for what I paid. Good location though.

Fresh and tasty especially the salad dressing. Also good to have the entertainment (talented buskers) in the Abbey courtyard outside the...More

I don’t think I have ever had better mussels in my life. They were perfectly prepared. We also had the meat platter to share which was good for two but a bit lite for three. They mushroom soup was simply wonderful.

We stopped by this restaurant after visiting the Roman Baths. They were about to close, but graciously received us and truly went above and beyond in service, attention, and preparation of a most outstanding meal! The Ale Battered Haddock and chips were delightful, as was...More
