Quickly popped in to buy a cake for when we got home and ended up buying four plus a load of cheese. Great knowledgeable staff with the cheese and the cakes were fantastic. Will certainly go in for a sit down coffee and cake next time.

The photo really doesn't do this croque monsieur justice. It really was incredible, obviously made with expensive, high-quality cheese. My skinny latte was just as good, not bitter whatsoever and very easy to drink. Service was alright, my coffee was almost forgotten about, but the quality makes up for that slight hiccup. I will definitely bring friends back to make... More

The range of cheeses is phenomenal, but unlike some of the chains the staff are (wait for it ) well trained and knowledgable.Saturdays can be hectic so if shopping for a dinner party go in a day or so early

We have eaten here previously and enjoyed the food and ambience. However, on this occasion something went seriously wrong. We waited several minutes to be seated even though I could see an empty table and seemingly plenty of serving staff. Having placed our order we waited almost 30 mins for the food to arrive. They brought me the wrong quiche... More

We are truly sorry for your disappointing experience at The Fine Cheese Co. Bath. It was an exceptionally busy Saturday lunchtime and we were struggling to clear tables, re-seat customers and deal with the number of orders. The delay was compounded by our chef giving you the wrong tart for which, we  sincerely apologise. Our till receipts indicate that you were... More

Have frequented the Fine Cheese Cmpany shop for many years. Always first class, and now the enlarged Cafe/Restaurant continues in the same way. Organic, vegetarians catered for, delicious soups, sandwiches and light lunches.

Was recommended this place. They sell cheese, local and French but also have a very good cafe. We did not book but got a table for an early lunch. We had homemade cauliflower soup and cheese and onion tarts, and we were offered half portion of soup as we were having two courses. This was a good idea as the... More

Very sweet little cafe adjoining to the cheese shop. A friend and I went for brunch whilst we were in Bath for the day. I had mushrooms on toast which was delicious, and my friend had granola and yogurt, which she said was great. Staff were really friendly. Wasn't too expensive. Will be back for the cheese platter, looked amazing!

Description
TWO SHOPS IN ONE We have a 'cheese shop' with a range of delicious treats, and a café with our own chefs. Our 'cheese shop' groans with artisan cheeses, and great food and wine, some of which you can't buy anywhere else. Our own chefs make everything from scratch - from flaky pastry sausage rolls to chewy pistachio macaroons. We will prepare you a cheese plate from what is in season. Why not graze as you browse?. You may shop in the 'cheese shop' for Keen's Cheddar, our own onion chutney, farmhouse butter and Hobbs House bread, or have them made for you into a sandwich, served with a cappuccino or a glass of wine. OUR STREET FOOD On nights where you simply don't have time to cook, let The Fine Cheese Co. prepare you a feast. Drop into our Walcot Street shop and pick up a delicious, homemade meal a for fuss-free dinner. Alternatively, when those hunger pangs hit at lunch time, grab something from our range to eat al-desko, or alfresco if you are lucky enough! Our chefs Laurent, Julian and Tess have created a Street Food Menu that will change twice a month. The menu includes three dishes that work together perfectly as well as on their own, and a selection of freshly baked pastries, tarts as well as our daily Spanish Tortilla.
