We had the 3 course pre theatre menu which is good value at £21. A reasonable choice and the food was nicely presented and cooked well. The bottle of Prosecco at £30 was not such good value though.

We stumbled across this place looking for night time eats. We booked a table for the Sunday evening and had the set price menu. Well the choice was good and the food was excellent and well presented. The choice of ales was very good and i tried a shot of them all, the staff were great and very helpful. Would... More

Great service. Great food. Great wine list. I had slow roasted Wiltshire Pork Belly with apple sauce with all the trimmings. Perfecto. Husband had roast Chicken supreme with cranberry stuffing and all the trimmings both came with Yorkshire pudding. Delicious.

We were just looking for a place to stop for a spot of lunch after being at the Roman Baths. We just picked this place and glad that we did. They had a children's menu and great options for sandwiches. The food was great and there was plenty of it. The children's sandwich was a bit big for my 17... More

Cracking Sunday lunch. Very busy too, didn't book but didn't mind waiting, even though it wasn't long as we weren't in a hurry and the beer was lovely!

Good pub which seems popular with the locals, good atmosphere but not overcrowded. Liked the selection of brews served by friendly staff. Worth a pop in if you're looking for a casual place to go for a drink

This is our 3rd visit to this beautiful old pub which is attached to the theatre. .The ambience is wonderful , set off by a live fire. We ate some beautiful food in the small restaurant alongside the bar..and the food was divine. This place has received many awards however has kept it's underplayed olde worlde style...well worth a visit.... More

If you're near the theatre in Bath, pop around the corner to the Garricks Head either for a drink, or for a meal. We were passing one afternoon and stopped off for a couple of drinks. It's a real ale pub, which interests me, and had four ales I'd not tried before. The bar staff were lively and chatty and... More

Description
Situated next to the Theatre Royal in the centre of Bath, the Garrick's Head Pub and and Dining Room offers a delicious selection of locally inspired dishes. Using seasonal ingredients and making everything fresh on site the kitchen serves traditional pub dishes such as fresh cod in beer batter with triple cooked chips and "the best burger in Bath" to more complex creations, Venison steak with a mini cottage pie of venison or poached Guinea fowl with wild garlic both popular at the moment. The Garrick's Head is ideally situated for pre Theatre dining as it is directly next door to the theatre so you are only minutes from your seat. Often described as a country pub in the city centre the Garrick's Head has roaring fires, four real ales and over 50 whiskeys, very much a pub with a dining room there are also over 50 seats outside on the terrace, perfect for watching Baths beautiful people come and go.
