In all fairness, I walked in to look at the menu and the menu looked great, but couldn’t stay. The smell of beer was so entrenched that I couldn’t bear it. I’m not sensitive to smells, but this was too much.

This pub is a one off. They don’t make them like this very often. Excellent pies, huge selection of real ales, good wines, fab atmosphere, superb service from the bar stafff.

We called in here, attracted by the beers and ales on offer and were not disappointed. A nice tucked away pub to sit and sup a couple of beers before continuing with the sightseeing.
