Chippy with a restaurant at the rear. Good range on the menu and even the option of light, crispy or thick batter! We went for lemon sole and haddock with light batter. Good portion size, a touch greasy but lovely otherwise.

Staying in Glastonbury decided to try something different. Great eat in family run chippy. Who needs a cup of tea with fish and chips when you can have excellent local cloudy cider!

Believe it or not diets catered for. Try juicey steamed fish, Jacket spud and mushy peas if you want to enjoy the lovely old building and the welcoming staff with your lucky friends eating the great fish and chips

Visited Knights over the Easter weekend and we were very surprised at the choice on the menu. So many original items (Cod bites and pea fritters were my favourites!), everything is made how you like it and all very reasonably priced. The waiting staff were...More

Hi. Just bought some chips from you. They were undercooked again. This has happened the last few times and I had decided to go to the other real chippy in Glasto but since I was very close to you today I decided to pop in one last time just to see and yes undercooked again. I think you need to address this issue as i am sure it will be loosing you business. The other chip shop in Glasto uses colored oil to make the chips golden which I don't like but even so the chips are crispy without raw bits in the middle! Hope you don't take this the wrong way. Will buy again from you if the chips are nice. All the best Peter Wright

Do you remember how good Fish & Chips used to taste? Well they still do - here! The same family has been serving Fish & Chips in this shop since 1909 - It is a Somerst Institution! AND you can have Wine, Beer or Cider with your Chips as they have a licence, AND you can sit down and eat it there in the shop, as its also a waited service restaurant! (booking highly advised for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays!)

We are probably the oldest established fish and chip restaurant in the UK that has remained in the family through out its existence, as well as being the oldest established business in Glastonbury. We have the finest quality cod, haddock and plaice available, delivered daily from British ports, not to mention tons of Cambridgeshire potatoes prepared on site throughtout the year.

Apart from our takeaway section, we have a maximum seating capacity of 82, including 12 in our courtyard area. We are also noted for our home-made fish cakes prepared on the premises every day. For the carnivore, pork faggots which are made especially for us by a local butcher. We have sausages and a selection of pasties and pies by a renowned producer, and a selection of chicken choices - Stacking Burgers, Jacket Potatoes and various Meat free options. We have a massive Restaurant menu that has various best sellers, lighter meals, kids choices, sharers, starters and lots of extras!

We have a drinks licence and offer a modest selection of favourite wines, draught and bottled beers and local ciders such as Wilkins farmhouse cider & Hecks farmhouse cider.
