Dropped in initially for a Sunday roast after reading great reviews about them. No tables available then a band started to set up,so we settled for a couple of pints instead. The roasts that we saw looked really great on others' plates though and I would certainly try one another time. Decent choice of ales on.Busy staff were polite. Clientele... More

My wife and I came to see a band playing at the King Arthur, a great show was put on. I loved the venue, but I can see it not suiting everyone's taste. If you like the current pub trend of trying to look old, then you may be disappoint with the King Arthur because it and its furnishings are... More

I am a local to glastonbury and after hearing all the rants and raves about how amazing their sunday roast is, I decided to pay a visit and see what all the fuss was about. Well, I was not disappointed. I would count my self as a fussy eater when it comes to a Sunday lunch, but even i could... More

We had a fantastic Sunday roast at the King Arthur last weekend, could not fault it and it was great value for money. We have also eaten there during week nights in the past and have always found the food to be delicious. The vibes on a Friday & Saturday night are the best in Glastonbury, you can always rely... Came here for the Easter bank holiday .. the pub had a festival on, was an electric atmosphere! Was very busy but the staff were in good spirits. Came back on the Sunday and had the most incredible roast dinner. I had the roast chicken with a thyme garlic butter and my husband had the rare roast beef with homemade... More

Went in on Good Friday and there was a music festival on out the back, so they had a limited lunch menu. We all ordered food I had the veggie burger and hand cut chips, two had the beefburger and one person had the tortillas with chilli. First surprise was it came out in a box rather than a plate... Really a music venue, but we called in for a drink and were entertained by the quirkiness and clientele, lots of would be hippies, an entertaining evening.

Called in for a beer or two on a wet Saturday lunchtime. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff, even friendlier clientele. Our dog was very welcome and could freely wander about the bar. Rambling layout of rooms and shelter at end of garden with people playing various instruments. Captures the vibe of Glastonbury very well.
