Just had a lovely cuppa and catch up with a friend who needs a gluten free diet. We were very impressed with the range of snacks and treats which were gluten free. Will definitely come again as the service was also very friendly and caring.

took a group of 10 Australians for lunch, pre-booked. Good service variety of food enjoyed by all, from soup to salad & sandwiches

Been here twice before and was lovely. Our only gripe was no butter on sandwiches! Today - well oh my God what a difference. Sandwiches bland, my chicken mayo cheap brown bread. Hubbies cheese and tomato cheese was cheap cardboard slices. No homemade coleslaw as we had before. Salad going brown. Appears to be using lower quality lidl products but... More

We decided to go here because we like to support local businesses. The problem was that the service was slow and disorganised. One member of staff to serve the ice cream another to serve coffee etc and another to clear tables. This seems adequate but I was standing at the counter to be served for nearly 4 minutes while orders... More

Thank you for your kind words that our food looked delicious but you do not state that you actually consumed anything. We have been trading for 25 years and have never felt the need to take credit/debit cards as we have 3 ATM's within 20 yards of the premises. We strive to be very competitive in our pricing and offering... More

We visited for tea and cake mid-afternoon following our walk around Wells. The cake (Victoria Sponge and Brownie) were both rather dry but the scone with cream & jam was lovely.

One of the highlights of my trip to Somerset was my meal at crofters! Great lunch, amazing staff, and a delicious assortment of cakes and pastries. I'd go back to England for some of Crofters scones alone!

We went twice to Crofters for a Lovington's ice cream during our weekend in Wells. The list of flavours advertised didn't match those in the freezer, and it was a bit expensive, but all the flavours we tried were really delicious. I had a ginger one and a mango one, and my husband had white chocolate/honeycomb and mango. They were... More
