Ate here with a group of friends after a Friday night out in Wells. Service was first class, attentive, friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Food was very good and prices were OK. Would recommend booking as its quite a small restaurant.

My wife and I had a really good meal here. The staff were attentive and friendly, we had generous portions, timely service and it was a fair price.

We were very dissatisfied with our meals-the meat in my lamb dish was tuff and very dry, as was my friends-the restaurant itself is well past its sell by date so all in all I'd give this Indian restaurant a wide birth.

We were staying for business and decided on Friday evening to go for an Indian meal and were not disappointed with this restaurant the staff were helpful guiding us through the menu and letting us taste the house wine before ordering. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Spent Saturday in Bath shopping with family and we all fancied a curry for dinner, so thought we would give the Rajah a try instead of our usual stop in Cheddar. Not much to look at from the outside, and once inside, up some stairs, to 1st floor, it's also not much to look at - almost like stepping back... More

Always friendly staff that have time to be polite and engage with the customers and the food is delicious. My kid loves eating food from Rajah too so it makes a great family treat on a Friday night.

Ignore the decor and enjoy good food and friendly service in this unassuming Indian restaurant. Excellent range of dishes. We had some poppadoms to start, a couple of mains, three side dishes and a large bottle of Cobra for a little over £30. We will return (yet again!)

Access to the Rajah is up a very steep and narrow flight of stairs from the entrance in Queen Street. The restaurant space is cramped and the décor in a relatively poor state of disorder. I suspect many might turn around and leave at this point. But don't because the food is great. Service is fast and friendly and the... More

How hard can it be to wiz up yogurt, water and a little sugar? Too hard for these folks as its not on the menu but something similar labelled as a mango lassi is available ,out of a box I think! It took them 2 goes at getting it right. Ok, food was hot and tasted ok but the decor... More
