Excellent place for a peaceful family/couple/solo meal with fantastic food and welcoming Host. I have been many times to Miso and every-time I have had a thoroughly brilliant time. Food is well priced for Japanese Cuisine.
When you first walk in to this place its a surprise as it doesn’t look much until you get upstairs it’s lovely. The staff are helpful and so welcoming the food is amazing could not fault anything. We would definitely recommend a visit to this...little place with an open mind. We will definitely be returning.More
Amazing Japanese restaurant...so much better than Wagamamas! Great octopus, squid and prawn starters. Wonderful flavours and big portions. Even tried a pudding that I'd never had before. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.
Originally planned to go to Wagamama’s in festival park. When we arrived their was a que out of the door. THANK GOD. because we then decided to go to miso on the off chance of a table being free. Luckily there was as our meal...was unreal. Ramen and sushi so authentic, service excellent. Lovely new design of restaurant. Highly recommend.More
I have been coming to or ordering from miso for last 6 years! The food has always been to perfection! Today I visited the newly referbished restaurant after nearly 3 years of the restaurant been closed. The decore makes you feel like your in a...boutique restaurant of Japan, with all the authentic touches they have done. The food again was amazing. We always start with pumpkin kerokes, with side order of sushi 🍣 which was flavoursome and beautifully ptesented. The ramen was packed with flavour, and definatley what was needed on a cold like tonight! The waiter was very polite and helpful, and his uniform fitted the whole experience, the food service was 10/10. I tried sake rice wine for first time, I would also recommend this, but when it's warm! It definatley had a kick! The only minus and this is only small, is that they didn't have their plum wine on the menu 😞 as it's so sweet and gorgeous to drink! The owner assured me it would be back soon😊 so I will definatley be returning to sample some more delights that Miso has to offer on their menu!More
Friendly staff & quick service, the food has improved over the years but it is very expensive for what it is & not all of it is home made.
I haven't been here in a while, so maybe the prices have changed. But for the portion sizes the food is a bit expensive. That said, the food is excellent though.
Best Sushi place in town. A smashing visit and wonderful hospitality. Is a true hidden gem and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
I wont judge the menu too much as they are social distancing in the kitchen maybe the price is because they have to pay comission. Will deffo try again once the full menu is available and hopefully the keep doing takeaway.
The place is very quirky indeed. Love the simple seating booths. For value for money vs quality, this place is fantastic. Really enjoyed it. Would go back for sure.
The place is a bit quirky, basic table and chairs. However, the staff were very helpful and the food was super tasty. My son loves Japanese food and we recently found Miso’s in Stoke, can’t believe we have not been before.. Good selection of foods...and they do a special most days, including Saturdays. Making it good value. Will be returning again and would recommend it.More
For some reason I have not visited Miso for a couple of years, but went again tonight. Was blown away with how good tge food was. They have special offers every night and Thursday is 3 sushi dishes fir £10. We picked three as a...starter to share between the three of us. There was more than enough and it was so good. Next we had a main each. I had the chicken teriyaki bento. So tasty. Staff were lovely and friendly, food was amazing. Will visit this restaurant far mire often. Forgot what I was missing.More
We went to miso as a group of 10 to celebrate my birthday. Staffs were so lovely and attentive, not one of us were disappointed by the food. The roast pork bento and sushi platter are highly recommend. We will be back again very soon...and keep up the good work.More
Have visited today the restaurant for the first time thanks to the nice reviews. We didn't go wrong! Excellent customer service and food. We really liked takoyaki, gyoza and chicken ramen. We didn't really liked okonomiyaki and duck ramen (the duck burny taste, not good...at all). The dorayaki was good but too expensive (3.50£ seriously?!?). However we really recommend this place but still some food to improve.More
